Siren’s Gratitude for the past Season
Autumn skies and pumpkin pies brings us to the end of our 2022 season, and what a season it’s been. As I sit on the beach during another spectacular sunset, overwhelmed by a flood of emotions, a calming breeze sets in time for reflection. Gratitude is at the forefront…so much gratitude we want to share
- Our Island Walkers; where to begin? So many amazing people who devote their passion to walking and experiencing the environment firsthand. The determination and spirit while keeping our planet clean has inspired our lives at Sirens as we mingled and listened to the stories of new island discoveries. You keep motivating us to enhance this experience for you and to test our own limits. Thank you
- The Versatile Group: Linda Lowther, Bryson, Emma, the team, thank you for all your support and introduction to the walkers
- Bill Kendrick: thank you for your sleepless nights in trying to make arrangements to compile the best possible experience for the walkers
- Cyclists: thank you for choosing us as a part of your cycling tour
- Our Tourists: choosing us as your vacation destination has allowed us to grow as a business and to implement changes to meet your needs. Beach fire stories and songs, beach fun and games, catch-of-the-day barbeques, electric car rides, and excited faces are what we cherish and will always remember. Thank you
- Our Frequent Flyers: you are like family, seeing your smiling faces warms our hearts and lets us know that we are on the right track. Sharing your anniversaries, losses, birthdays, engagements allows us to be a part of your lives, Thank you
- Our Community:
- Boathouse Restaurant; our sister business…if you haven’t booked the Lobster Experience with Val you are missing out. Val has outdone herself with the fresh seafood and the expansion of the Boathouse Eatery, you go Val, thank you for feeding our customers
- Local restaurants: serving daily fresh catch with a twist and a tireless smile, thank you
- Fishermen/Captains: Sailors of our Atlantic Ocean have gone way and beyond in immersing our customers into the East Coast fishing culture and the experience of our ocean and marine-life that inhabits it, Thank you for keeping us and our waters safe
- Harbour Master: Our female Harbour Master Sheila kept all the fishermen safe this season and has extended her services to making sure that she alerts us when a Tuna is coming into the harbour so that our guests can experience the King of Fish, Thank you Sheila.
- Other Accommodations: Thank you for working closely with us to accommodate the large influx of tourism this year
- Friends and Family: you are our backbone, visiting and working alongside with us to contribute to the Sirens experience. We could not do it without you
- Our Beautiful Island: this season you were ravaged by Fiona, your landscape has changes, your dunes are sorrow, your trees torn, and yet, you keep giving sunny skies and blue horizons unconditionally. Collectively we are all working to help heal your wounds as storms make trees grow deeper roots
Thanks again for having faith in us, friend
